I mentioned earlier that I'd purchased a used replacement for my lost cell phone. The phone is a Motorola v600. It's a camera phone.
The replacement arrived yesterday (mental note: go leave positive comment for e-bay seller) at the same time that the new sim card arrived. A half hour charging the phone, a call to my provider, and I was up and cell-running, no problemo.
Whoever owned this phone prior to me did not do a good job removing their old photos and contacts and text messages.
I felt like I was rummaging through their private places, but I could not help myself. The guy (I'm pretty sure it was a guy -- there's one photo that seemed to be a self-portrait -- looks like he was holding the phone out and snapping a pic of himself) was a soccer fan. He was also a fan of two pre-teenaged girls because there were a gazillion pictures of these two hugging and mugging on a sofa. Family shots. Shots of soccer games.
I was addicted to it by now -- was there pr0n? Would I be trying to find this guy's address and sic the cops on him for pedophilia? It was like a soap opera.
Some hot babe sent a series of photos of herself via text messaging -- actually, the more broadband version of text messaging.
She was a very buxom adult woman, wearing a very revealing costume, and she was undressing in a dressing room.
I'm so ashamed of myself. I considered calling one of the contacts, probably "Erin", and confessing my misdeeds, but decided against it.
Maybe I can recoup the cost of the phone by selling the hot babe pics on e-bay ...
Ha! That's funny. When I got my old laptop there were "fill ins" saved for various forms, including someone's AMEX number.

But if you decide you need some spending money, you know where to send those pics! Juast let me know how much. I can put it on Paula's computer moron's AMEX, maybe!
I think some of those phones are stolen. We had a cell phone stolen from our car in Tucson, the next week people on my contact list were getting calls from someone asking why their phone wasn't working.
You could check for an "In Case of Emergency" contact in his list, call them and tell them the guy needs to go to therapy for a desire to watch little girls being naughty. :)
