Oh, I like it!! Going to sell these, or just a fun hobby?

Nice job for a firstie!

Some noobs stick with wire for longer than they oughta, good quality thread is the way to go. Or maybe it should be called string, I don't recollect.

Nice way to de-stress innit?

Onesy-twosy. I bought an outfit at the fab-oo Mervyn's close-out sale that is shot through with threads of turquoise and black and an olive-y green. I had no necklace to go with it. I also needed to buy some beads to repair something else and found these turquoise beads, and some lovely onyx beads and thought, "oooh!"

Thanks. Found that making the little loops in the wire got much easier and more consistently good as I went on, natch.

I'm not happy with it, now. As I look at it, I decided that the squarish black beads don't add to it and there's an imbalance in the colors so I'm prolly gonna take those out and put in others. Shorten it overall a tad, and lengthen the little chain bit at the toggle clasp, which means off-setting the other side to keep the pendant centered.

That's the lovely part of using wire -- modular replacement, innit.
